Bartsch and Partner - Attorneys

Our cooperation partner in France: Alexandre Lévy Kahn, Strasbourg

About the firm

"This Karlsruhe-based firm has established "an exceedingly strong" reputation and is renowned for its deep roots in the market."
(Chambers Global - The World's Leading Lawyers for Business 2006)

Alfred Bartsch established the law firm in 1950; his son Michael Bartsch shifted the focus to the combination of law and technology. A team of 16 lawyers consults and advises clients in all major issues of commercial law. Thanks to the firm's manageable size, our lawyers are all kept abreast of ongoing issues. Direct client contact is of particular importance to us and a result-oriented service a top priority - both in court and out of court.

Cross-border issues are resolved in co-operation with a network of foreign law firms, with a special focus on the Franco-German legal relations where we are supported by the Strasbourg-based law firm Alexandre Lévy Kahn.

Our client base is varied and ranges from free-lancers to international corporate groups. We advise software vendors, renowned both nationally and internationally, and IT users, among them several banks. Our long-term clients include several building contractors, engineering companies, and utilities companies; in addition, we advise publishing houses, museums, cultural institutions, and artists regarding copyright and media law issues. On a regional level, our legal services are geared towards mid-sized companies.

In the 2003/2004 issue of the renowned referral book "JUVE-Handbuch Wirtschaftskanzleien" (JUVE Directory of Commercial Law Firms) our partnership was awarded the title "Law Firm of the Year for Baden-Württemberg (excluding Stuttgart)."
